The Sheehan Family Companies were expanding from its two MA operations (L. Knife & Son and Seaboard Products) to Syracuse New York, back in spring of 1983, when Michael joined the L. Knife team. Michael learned the beer business with the help of many, and from a variety of roles, over his thirty-two years with the company. In 1988 Michael moved to our Seaboard Products division North of Boston, from L. Knife, and assumed the role of Anheuser Busch Equity Manager/GM. By 2000 the Sheehan Family Companies had grown to seven operating units, with operations in New York, Wisconsin and Massachusetts. It was then that Michael transitioned from Seaboard Products GM to Vice President of Sales & Marketing for all seven of our companies. Since then Michael has been an integral part of our company’s expansion to eighteen operating units, and with development of our portfolio of brands, cultivating strong relationships with hundreds of the world’s best breweries.
The Sales & Marketing Team is a group of talented and experienced professionals. Their talents span from the analytical to the creative. The mission of the Team is “to provide support and resources, to all Sheehan Family Companies operating divisions, to assist in achieving continued profitable growth.” The Team works with all operating divisions, supporting and delivering value in areas such as Brand Management, National Accounts, Sales Operations, Sales Training & Development, Analysis and Marketing.
